Situated in the center of the city, the Paço Imperial is a rare example of a historic monument, which in different times, was the stage of important events in our history. Has the building itself, the beauty of its architecture and his historical importance, as the permanent collection to be explored. As for his restoration, the reconstitution of the facade, we opted for the feature acquired particularly in the period of the colonial occupation of the Portuguese Royal Family, but were preserved marks and forms of various other historical moments. The permanent exhibitions are also a great cultural program.
